At times, life can present challenges. Sometimes, it becomes too much to juggle work, family, finances and other commitments. That's when you can turn to the EAP. Our professionally trained counselors are available and believe that almost every problem can be successfully resolved once that problem is recognized, assistance is provided and action taken.
Our counselors are experienced, licensed mental health professionals who can help with personal, family and workplace problems. Examples are:
Work-related stress Substance Abuse
Relationship or Marital Issues Parent/Child Conflict
Depression Unresolved Grief
Anxiety Domestic Violence
Procrastination
Additionally, counselors can assist with referrals to physicians and to legal and financial resources. In some cases, these costs are based on the individual's ability to pay. Health insurance, depending on the employee's insurance plan, may cover some of these fees.
How to Use EAP Services
It's easy to use. Just call weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 pm CST. When you've made the call, you can schedule a visit with a counselor in a private, relaxed atmosphere. You will have an opportunity to discuss your problems confidentially and begin to explore possible solutions.
If it is urgent that you talk to someone, you may call outside these hours and someone will return your call promptly. If you are in crisis, we urge you to call 911.
